I do think Daemon has a special bond with Rhaenyra's kids, Helaena, Daeron and Aemond in particular, so i take turns in sayings step-kids or just kids, but they love each othe all the same. I think he cares for them beyond just being Rhaenyra's, but also them being the future of their house, i think he enjoys some peace and quiet as well, and is also looking out for his daughter's future.       I’m glad daemon is settling into being a good father and supportive husband. I’m guessing he would enjoy having a hand in the raising of the next king in Aegon and 2 future lords paramount in Aemond and Daeron. Let alone his daughters; a ruling lady of driftmark and the ladies of the starks and lannisters.

      Love how Aemond defended Baela here. I’m do glad that they are still able to care for each other and maintain a good relationship.
