    Aaaahhh! Things are really busy, but I'm trying to catch up as much as I can -- as quickly as I can!

    I love the game played by Damon and Elena here, where they ask each other questions, but temper themselves when needed to let the healing process flow. It's incredibly sweet and beautiful.

    The storyline about Liz is always sad, of course.

    Really great jumping straight into the sequel, and I'm go glad you're going to continue this story! And aah, more S6 -- my fave season, by far. :D

    Already psyched for more! :D

      Poor things have so much trauma, and I like the tension and drama in the show most of the time, but I also like that in fanfic we can give them moments to deal with it. I'm glad you like the game, I didn't have a fully fleshed out idea for how they'd try to deal with everything until I started writing, but I'm quite proud of it.

      I was so tempted to change Liz's storyline, but the point of the first story (so its sequel) was only to change two things in season 6 to see what would happen - Elena stuck instead of Damon and Bonnie getting out first - and I couldn't let myself do it. I mean, I've sorted of changed Stefan and Caroline's romance happening due to Stefan not running away in grief, but it felt more natural as I was writing. Liz's was too big a change and we must still be sad. :(
