Comment on Five times Agent Carter soulgazes didn't change anything... and one they did

  1. Book with flippy pages (made by Roxicons)

Oh, this is super neat. ♥ ♥ ♥ I love the different ways that the characters experience soulgazes, which are all so very "them", and the different things that they see; I also really like the structure, starting out with Daniel's uncertainty about how other people see him in a soulgaze, and ending on that image. (Now I'm curious what Peggy and Jack saw when they soulgazed each other -- we get the broad strokes of it, but not the specifics, though having a soulgaze in that scene does fit perfectly with the emotional shift between them after they come back from their mission.) But yeah, these are lovely!

Jack doesn’t notice when his weaker reflection juts his chin out and keeps going anyway, but Daniel does.

    1. The gazes and most of the gaze methods pretty much wrote themselves. The difficult part was balancing how soul gazes worked with the descriptions of the gaze and the interpretation and drowning it all in exposition. It would have been harder if I wasn't using canon scenes and assuming a certain amount of familiarity.

You can write the Peggy/Jack gaze! :p
