    Please - Aeglas, Saeroth, Tirloth, and Tatharel have to live!

    This is a remarkable depiction of desert hell - the heat, the thirst, the sucking sand, the absence of landmarks, the disorientation. The three guards’s despair is so real. Tatharel’s determination is formidable, but her hallucinations mean she is near the end.

    This is heartbreaking.

      The desert is disorienting, and I envision it to be a mirror image of Helcaraxë. The scouts have been through so much, and this really was the final straw for them. And for Tatharel, trying to go home with every shred of her soul, we shall see about her fate
