    It’s both! Luka is a nickname, Lucus is his full name. Sorry if that was confusing!

    Yeah, Luka is really going through it but he’ll have a better family, one that loves him and would burn the world down for him. Honestly, he already has that in his spirits. I’m so glad you liked it! I was a little worried that all the overly descriptive or vague parts might make it hard to stay engaged.

    I just love worldbuilding so much, it’s probably my fatal flaw. Celestial magic has so much potential and it’s so tragically underused in canon. Like, come on, literal star beings you summon with keys? And each one has their own personality, lore and history? They’ve probably been around since the age of dawn, they’re literally stars. And they have their own realm with time differences and a king. There’s just so much you could do with that.

    I also have a weakness for body horror, it’s just really interesting to write, lol.

    Aww, the sea slugs I mean, majestic sea dragons sadly won’t appear until much, much later. Sorry!

    I think if Luka or any of the characters I’ve made ever met me, I’d be immediately gutted 😭
