Yeah, Krauser to the rescue :D Luckily this was the less overpowered version of Wesker. So no Urobouros, no god-level resurrection. Poor Leon is going to be dealing with that trauma for a while. He'll seem fine at first and then it'll come boiling up again. Ha hah, yep, Leon needs to have something with pretty pictures in it or else it's too dull. As things progress, Krauser finds it easier to deal with Leon in this headspace if he thinks of him as the little rookie from training, not the ice-cold agent. In future chapters, Krauser is so out of his comfort zone but he tries so hard. And it helps that he's always felt very protective of Leon. Thank you so much for the comment and for your amazing story, that was one of the things that inspired this. Of course, in your story, Wesker was actually kind of a sweetie in a Wesker-like way :)

Thanks!! I've explored it a bit in the latest chapter. Krauser is really not prepared for this version of Leon, especially not when it comes to some of the routines and rules that Leon was conditioned to live by (thanks to Wesker.) You fic was a major inspiration and it's definitely interesting that we all have very different approaches to how the same character deals with the same situation. I think your Wesker is still the kindest out of the stories :D
