So I originally write these chapters based on the song lyrics. The lyrics "watch the evening news cuz it's my favorite cartoon" and even more so "gonna join a cult" refer to MAGA credos. Green Day hasn't been shy about bashing Trump and MAGA, and this song is no exception. I happen to agree with their stance, but I really did include it just bc of the song. I then did add a couple other things tho bc yeah I'm very anti-Trump lol. If Green Day isn't being subtle, I won't be either :)
