Ah I see now what you mean by jyggalag fearing sheogorath. Jyggalag and his blade brings to mind someone using work as a coping mechanism and a source of certainty.
Also, have I said the stonehenge imagery and your description of it is amazing? Still trying to guess what's the one stone (the one outside the circle) means, but Im mostly content to just sit and wait for the reveal hahah.
Work, and sometimes medication. There are some medications for ADHD that work, but they leave you feeling like a robot or a zombie sleepwalking through life. You function, but you don't feel like a person. Sometimes you go for these medications anyway, because you're desperate to feel some sense of control.
It's meant to reference the Tower, but Stonehenge is also a nice comparison.
All in time. I honestly wasn't sure anyone was still interested in this fic and I'm at a tricky part, I'm so glad you commented :)
Ah I don't think I have ever seen the Tower referenced in game (I mostly read that from uesp) so Stonehenge is the picture that came to mind.
Oh I very much look forward to seeing Sadrith and Voryn as mutual supports (in many ways more than one iykyk). They just haven't seen how to get it and that's the agonising part. I'm rooting for them all.
