    Wow. This IS a beast.
    First : I always enjoy the little nods to the canon, where in non-culebras AUs Richie's mentioned being nocturnal, or working nights.
    Second: it is funny to see how in 1997 walkman could be called a relic when for me it was still a dream to own one. ;)
    Ximena! And Rafa! I appreciate actual conversations, and not only mentions of what's happened. Still very much intrigued about Kisa's lore here.
    Seth's POV! I've never been a teenage boy, but I'm totally buying them here, with their unconventional relation (if it's worth anything ;))

      over. 9. thousand. words. I got so sick of looking at it that i just stopped trying to find a good breaking off point. And I have a thing with keeping my chapters in the same (ballpark) length. It's a compulsion, sadly.

      I love sneaking in little stuff like that, it amuses me. Good eye ;) and I'm just going off experience w/ the cassette walkman; around that time I'd had a portable CD player for a couple of years. Eh. Especially since Kate's only 15 rn.

      Kisa is coming up in-person in *checks notes* chapter 5. ^_^; she makes quite an impression. It's rough out here, trying to come up with decent character intros while still moving the story forward.

      'unconventional relation' looool. lmaoooo even. I just had this idea that they'd be heavily codependent on each other for a long time after their dad died, and took it to 11. It gets worse. Better? 🤷‍♀️ guess it depends on your pov lol
