Yeah, it was def time for him to let go of that. He gave us some great music during that era, but as always, good things must come to an end. I never watched the show cause everyone was trashing it lol. But he did make a great soundtrack for the show, which showed that he should def just stick to making music lmao. Oh great! Actually, this isn’t the “closing” song of the album, and it really pissed me off cause it sounds more like the conclusion than the last song on the album “Hurry Up Tomorrow” which is also the name of the album. I’ll recommend some more songs of his that kinda sound like rock music, but not really lmao: Life of the Party, Heaven or Las Vegas. Oh and here’s some more songs off his latest album just bc they deserve recognition: The Abyss, Baptized in Fear, Open Hearts, Big Sleep (my second fav song after Without a Warning). Ugh, I hate it when there's a scandal with a band or an artist (or an individual in a band). That put me off some music, even though I think sometimes you need to separate the art from the artist, but sometimes it's just so severe that it's not acceptable.
But yeah, I think it's like that with a lot of them, like generally I've seen so few repercussions where bands got rid of their member(s), or an artist has been forgiven so quickly (with no good reason when you compare it to the stuff they (allegedly) have done). So weird.
If it were the author who advertised it that way, then yeah I do agree that'd be deceitful. In the case of when someone in the comments just says it, that was on me for trusting them and then being disappointed ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵), because that perspective/opinion I think was just so different and subjective that I can't even be mad. It was just weird, but it's a good example of how some people think and see things differently and how two views of the same thing can differ so much.
