Very glad that you enjoyed my rewrite of the MC's initial reaction to the Josy & Maya reveal! I wanted to strike a balance between the MC still being upset, but not nearly as cold as he was in canon.
I mostly reused the exact same lines Tommy said in canon during the "march of the rejects" scene outside of a few of them.
As nasty as those "feminists" are (and will become), they've added spice to the cooking club to make those scenes more interesting.
It's been a lot of fun writing SB and Riona together so far. Definitely one of my favorite types of scenes to write in my fic, and yes, that is my personal bias speaking here :P
I'm planning on differentiating the tri-alphas somewhat from each other. Case in point, Alex will be one of the less meatheaded jocks of the bunch. Same goes with Chad, especially now that he's stepping his game up.
And Derek would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddling Quinn making Josy her daughter instead!
One thing I should mention is that Quinn is going to be far nastier than she was in canon (there's a reason she straight up called her partner-in-crime "raw sushi"). Both because I personally find her canonical actions to be inexcusable, especially with how much it takes for her to apologize, and because it will fit with how the rest of my fic will play out.
