    Holy fuck. This was SO good like the amount of emotion you packed in between all the sucking and fucking was INCREDIBLE. Varric being sort of outside of himself looking in (which is such a Varric thing to be!) and then finally letting himself be really in the moment and FEEL everything and good lord every time they locked eyes I swooned and then they held HANDS and I’m just babbling at this point because my brain has melted from how good this was

      My goal here was to create a situation where Varric's mentally saying "what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck what the fuck' to himself on repeat, but in a "holy shit don't stop" way? Which is so different than the only other smut scene I've written (the one in A Poem and A Mistake) -- so I was (am!) highkey nervous about how this scene landed
