Masayoshi Shido has barred the Shadow Operatives from action for two years, since the death of Wakaba Isshiki. But when the Phantom Thieves appear, Mitsuru decides that they can't keep just watching from the sidelines. Luckily, there is a certain former member Shido doesn't seem to be aware of: Ken Amada. But when Ken meets the Phantom Thieves in person, he can't help but agree with their goals. He can't help but befriend them. Maybe it only had been a matter of time before he actually joined them.
