Description:

Of Propriety.
Miss Leonie Pinelli is setting her cap at becoming a gentlewoman and distinguished lady to prove a point. Her propriety, however, is lacking and with a non-existent fortune, Leonie attracts no one but…

Of Pride.
…Count Lorenz Hellman Gloucester, who has been a thorn in her side for years. He is wealthy, well-known and incredibly prideful. He is to search for a woman to call his countess, but finds himself converted with the affairs of his dear friend…

Of Pleasing.
…Mr Raphael Kirsten, his penniless friend who has come to Enbarr to make connections. After a chance meeting at the opening ball, he is introduced and falls head over heels for…

Of Persuasions.
Miss Bernadetta von Varley, the daughter of the minister of religion and esteemed peerage of Varley Country, is to marry well to save her family from financial ruin… But her heart pulls her towards Raphael, despite countless warnings of ruin.

One social season and several proposals, scandals and consequences that echo through the ton, partially inspired by Jane Austen’s works.

Notes:

Of Conduct, Of Manners and The Reigning Power and the Rising Sun take place roughly at the same time—OCOM has a wider width of story that is covered in Leonie and Lorenz’s history, while RPRS goes into detail about the social season and reunion of Bernadetta and Raphael. It might be possible to read RPRS first and then OCOM, but I haven’t tried it. OCOM is a Pride and Prejudice remix while RPRS takes after Persuasion (and uses elements of P&P for flavour.)

Unjust and Ungenerous takes place during chapters 15 to 18 of OCOM, from Ignatz’s perspective in regards to Leonie’s departure from Rosedale and Lorenz’s conduct.

The Cartography of a Crush takes place several years after the events of RPRS, from Maya’s perspective.

First Impressions is a one-shot “remaster” of Darcy’s proposal and a closer rewrite to Pride and Prejudice.
