Canon retelling of the Teen Wolf show, from someone who's watching it solely for this fic and finds it endlessly fascinating and frustrating. Each fic will explore the characters and plot in a given season.(There might be some bonus fics taking place during downtime too)
This series still follows Scott, but with Stiles, Derek, Lydia, Allison and others getting more screen time as well. Every character gets a backstory and development ("You get an arc! And you get an arc! And you-").
As the series continues little changes will spiral out into larger affects on the Canon so look out for that, this isn't Canon compliant it's Canon refurbished.
This is not a fix-it. (Except for plot holes) there will be angst and death and traumas but I hope to make it worth it and give all the characters a satisfying arc. (For instance if a character got killed off screen for no good reason, I'm not doing that. Badass deaths or last second saves only.)
Shipping.
There's gonna be a lot of ships here, queer ones (basically everyone is at least bi here). I hope to make them all fun in their own way. But for a few they're not gonna be the otp for each other so I'm sorry if you really ship something and it doesn't go anywhere beyond a season.
In regards to Sterek.
There will be Sterek (eventually) but since I'm intending to rewrite the whole series and there's character drama going on these two will have to wait. There will be plenty of cool moments between them (pre slash all the way they're the otp here). They're gonna be awesome but I need to keep some drama going to get through this. (They're my reward to myself for watching season four.)
And also there's still an age gap which I want to show them navigating responsibly, which will be easier in the later seasons.
There will be scenes that are close to the show but I'm not going to try to make them line accurate nor do I want to.
Inspired works.
So there's a lot of potential here. I've even been considering spin off series for characters who live but leave town. But I probably won't get around to it with the 1.mil words I have loosely planned already.
So I welcome anyone to take up the challenge. I'd love to collaborate in some capacity. (Such as giving you plot notes to build everything together for when all the characters come back in the finale.)
Or if there's anything else it's totally up to you. Blanket permission for other works, podfics especially.
