Annabelle, who was hiding in the kitchen being a typical Web avatar, is just along for the ride. She wants some snuggles and possibly later some web kink, whatever that might be. Also, of course, to manipulate people. But that's a given.

Jonah sighed and pushed himself to his feet again. “The day Daisy took Jon into the woods to kill him. But in this timeline Basira never showed up because nobody told her about Daisy’s plan to use her ‘operational discretion.’” He nudged Jon’s corpse with his foot. “See? In this timeline she actually managed to slit his throat and he died quite painfully in mortal terror.”
Martin sobbed. “NO! N-no, this… this can’t…” he turned to Jonah, desperate. “What can we do? We’ve never… we’ve never been in a universe where we existed before. Is this… is this…?”
Jonah let out a soft, bitter chuckle. “Well, in this universe you didn’t make it past the worms attacking you so you’re just you. Jon… he just died here.” He gestured to Jon. “So… that’s what happens.” Me? I took another body so I’m able to exist here in this one. And Annabelle, well, she was somewhere else at this point so I have no idea where she is.”
