It was dark where she was, as nothing but the night sky quite reached her position on the building. Wind stroked her hair, pushing it out of her face and behind her ears. Night in the abandoned outskirts of the suburbs was… odd. No sound but the wind- not even birds- disrupted the serenity the rooftop constructed. She took a step forward, balancing on the ledge. The building was a good four stories, wood rotting in some areas and concrete crumbling in others.
