No hesitation. Nene nodded.
Nene gets stage fright, despite her better judgment. Rui notices and comforts her.

“I came to walk you to Phoenix Wonderland, of course. I didn’t want you to be alone today.”
Emu planned to spend the last day of school alone, until Rui showed up.

He held his head in his hands to try and drown out the burning computer screen against his dark bedroom. His frustration was only broken by the sound of knocking on his bedroom door.

So when he came to her house for their usual Robo-Nene maintenance check, she knew one of two things would happen. They would either both end up getting carried away while talking about possible implementations they could add in the future until morning caught them awake, or Nene would have a game she wanted to catch up with and she would let Rui take care of the checkup while she played it, leading to Rui one way or the other falling asleep after he was finished. Judging by the light weight Nene felt on her right side as she held her controller, today seemed to be the latter."
