When Shepard first made the comment about blowing off steam together—skipping the fight and going straight to the tiebreaker—she had intended it as a joke. A way to lighten the mood because she’s always been able to relax around Garrus. She’s always been more than comfortable with him. The AI should have been unnerving, with it’s accuracy but at this point she was more than glad for his scanning abilities. When EDI had warned her about the weather advisory, she had just scoffed. Now with rain droplets clouding the visor of her helmet, ankle deep mud sucking at her boots and torrential lighting storms that blocked communications she was reconsidering her bravado. Never again was she going to question EDI.
“Lead the way Legion. I can’t see shit out here.”
At least the rain was warm.
