Summary
Kira Thomas is the lone female chef at Capaldi's, who's constantly harassed and mistreated by her male counterparts who are all immigrants from Guatemala, unlike her. But there's one man in the kitchen that treats her kindly. That man being Tulio Marroquín. However, she isn't aware that he also he likes her. But that all changes when she is left for dead nearby her apartment. Once she wakes up in the guest room of the home that he shares with his older sister, Monica, he confesses his love for her. But what happens when she learns that Tulio has history with the man that shot her? And will she still be able to have her happily ever after with him?
