Summary
When Arthur was a young boy, his nursemaid gifted him with a crystal vial.
“This belonged to your mother,” she explained. “It contains the breath of a powerful guardian. Once summoned, he will come to your aid in your hour of need.”
When a magical plague befalls Camelot, Arthur summons the guardian Merlin. He doesn't know that by doing so, Merlin would be bound to him for as long as he lives.

merlin has been taught that angels who have emotions are the ones who get casted out from divinity; though, he never really understood the appeal of “feelings,” so there is nothing for him to worry about…right?

Those people are out of his timeline,
to at least help version of him(that most likely will get all the other versions of him happier ending but that past the point)
They went to help because he will help them without even asking.

This is a choose your own adventure series. You have the option to follow either Merlin, Arthur, or Morgana. The progression of the series will take different routes depending on who you choose.

This series was initially started on my Tumblr, however I disliked the way it written and ultimately lost inspiration in it. In order to salvage any remaining interest I had in this series, I decided to rewrite the entire series from the beginning, like an upgrade of sorts. This series will now be updated exclusively on AO3, however I will leave the original on my Tumblr. Please enjoy.
