Post Network Effect. Murderbot just got back to Preservation Station from a personal mission in the Corporation Rim. It never likes sharing details of its missions, and sometimes that's a problem. Now, there's something bothing it, and PresAux is having a hard time figuring out what's wrong.

Summary
Life hadn't been turning out the way Marinette had hoped. Instead of art school, she has found herself working as a barista in a quirky, little coffee shop and rarely able to make ends meet. She had faced disappointments that had left her cynical of society around her, but all she could do about it was protest the injustices with the only weapon left to her - inspiration, spray paint, and a blank wall.
As the underground street artist Ladybug, she comes into conflict with another tagger, Chat Noir, over their turf and subject matter. All of this would have been slowly winding Marinette up, that is, if it wasn't for the stiff, standoffish man who came in regularly for an obscenely sugary drink and left napkin doodles behind.
