Summary
Wanting to unwind with Annie Leonhart, your girlfriend of two years, you take a trip to your family cabin by Lake Opack, a medium sized lake in the mountains. Although the situation may not be perfectly ideal-your parents joined you on the trip-you realize that there is still much, much more to learn about Annie.
This slice of life story is set in a modern, contemporary world; expect things such as pop culture references and some modern technology. Additionally, because Attack on Titan can get so heavy at times, this is meant to be a lighthearted, feel-good, warm-and-fuzzy story. There will be a distinct lack of Titan slaying, human slaying, or anything otherwise (though there will be other references to the already established AOT world). Enjoy some fluff!
Though not my first time writing, this is my first stab at fanfiction! Let me know what you think. This one is for you, Annie simps and apologists ;)

He sighed deeply as his eyes stayed transfixed on the callouses on your hand.

Words spoken so quiet she thought you had imagined them for a moment, as if someone had voiced his thoughts into your mind. The words were enough to shatter your heart into pieces, but his tone; the way his voice wavered, that hurt more. Slowly, so as not to disrupt the quiet peace between you, you placed a finger under his chin and forced him to look you in the eyes. He looked like a wounded pup, brown eyes wide and begging. Begging for what, you couldn't tell yet.
"You-" your breath hitched. "You could never stop me."
