Summary
300 years ago, the Renans enslaved the Dhanans and transformed the spirits of Duel Monsters into playing cards on their neighboring planet. Despite being a Dhanan slave, Alphen managed to obtain a Duel Disk and get his hands on one of the Egyptian Gods from Dhana; Slifer the Sky Dragon. Everything will change the day he meets Shionne, of which she possessed one of the Sacred Beasts originating from Rena; Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. From then on, both Duelists from different worlds will upset the course of fate that binds humans and monster spirits through card games.
