Summary
Ieiri Shoko feels as alive as the cadavers she examines most days. Day in, day out, nothing seems to change except the bars Satoru drags her to at the end of the night. However, a mysterious phone call has her ending up as the new caretaker for Maki and Mai Zenin—two eight-year-old twins on the run from the Zenin Clan.
