While they clash, Xeres forges a perfect vessel: he captures Kabuto, Android 21, and All For One. Kabuto steals a timeline’s fallen Gohan; 21 refines a matrix to fuse impossible power; All For One’s Stockpile Quirk stabilizes it. Xeres pours his essence in and rises—a Saiyan with Vegeta-sharp hair and a single front band; purple pants and sash; black boots; a black tunic draped as a one-sided sash over his right leg—housing Haki, Ki, Chakra, Reiatsu, Nen, Cursed Energy, Alchemy, and more. His aim isn’t conquest but revenge on the old Gods. As he storms heaven, rivals unite for an all-or-nothing war. - Harriet Chalmers Adams, American novelist and travel writer, the first female pioneering journalist to be invited to the French frontlines in World War ISix months following the attacks of Pearl Harbor, new Bryn Mawr graduate, Esther Armstrong has been sticking it out at Fort Bragg in North Carolina in W-Sector; a small selection of women in the Armed Forces that report and photograph the Home Front for the American people to see. It's only when a special request, via Colonel Robert Sink, from Camp Toccoa, Georgia, of the 506th Airborne Division, requests the presence of a war correspondent to document one of the newest additions to the military, the Airborne. Specifically, Easy Company of the 506th. Esther enlists the assistance of fellow combat photographer, Mercy Codona, and the two travel down to Camp Toccoa to begin documentation of Easy Company and the Airborne.
Esther and Mercy follow the men of Easy Company through training and all the way to D-Day, where suddenly, they meet women who have been fighting this war for years, whose stories Esther refuses to let go untold.

After the war with the Decay of Angels is over, Ranpo is the one chosen to join the Port Mafia. He's teamed up with Chūya to uncover a decade's long PM infiltration and to take down the enemies within other underground organizations. Ranpo never expected to not only learn more about what he's capable of as a detective, but to also learn of his past and what really happened to his parents--and how deeply they themselves were tied to what's lurking in the underbelly of Yokohama.
Though this is very largely Ranpo's story (and ever since Ranpo and Chūya went into Poe's book, I've been obsessed with wanting to know what went on in there between them), it transformed into something much bigger. The Agency is dealing with the aftermath of the DOA; many young children lost their parents and there are citizens who are still weary of the ADA's true intentions. Atsushi and Akutagawa created their singularity to defeat Fyodor (though his actual demise is still a big question mark) and are trying to figure out what this truly means for them. A new threatening foreign ability user has entered Ango's radar. Sigma has *years* worth of Fyodor's memories he needs to get off his chest.

The body is sturdy and dark, lined with golden plates that sneak down its giant flank and lead into what looks like a tail, long and curled like a snake against the floor.
