Summary
The baton in the general’s hand dropped, chopping through the air in a single, definitive motion and all along the line the signal was witnessed by dozens who roared ‘loose’ into the sky. A pause of utter silence, a snap of thousands of hemp cords and a sigh of air over feathers washed over us and in that moment, the sky darkened with a steel-tipped hail.
An opening volley, the opening volley was on its way and the Battle of Bruma had begun.

Umaril the Unfeathered has been struck down, utterly vanquished by the Divine Crusader but there is no time to rest or celebrate as the end of the world has come.
