"Harvey, up." Oh boy, he never sat up so fast, his aching head seemingly worsen but it was worth it. Bruce huffs, concern growing steadily, "C'mon, eat some crackers and then drink this pill." Harvey hated medicines but one look from Bruce made him cave so fast he swallowed the crackers and the pill in a span of two minutes. He lays back down, Bruce huffs again and takes off his own blazer and settled next to Harvey, "You'll get sick too, y'know." Remarked Harvey and that drew a sharp scoff from Bruce, "I know, I'm a med student. Now, can it before I actually force a sleeping pill down your throat to shut you up."

At first glance Thomas was sure the victim was already long gone, just a burned, mangled husk attached to tubes and wires. But he was shocked to see that the heart monitor was slowly beeping. “What happened?” Thomas immediately questioned. “There was an explosion in an abandoned building around Park Row. He was found in the rubble. He was resuscitated on the scene and coded once in the ambulance. Aside from severe burns, broken bones and trauma the worst injury seems to be a wound at his throat caused by a sharp object.” They rattled off more information as Thomas quickly prepped for surgery. Every second was going to have to count to save this one.

Lost and alone Jason struggles with his injuries and his own existence, but the Waynes are determined to help him every step of the way. It has been a year since the infection spread across the world. Bruce and Alfred have become a well-oiled machine: wake up, check the radio, raise the flag, treat the few injured people who are still alive enough to make it to the grounds, make a supply run, lower the flag, lockdown the manor, and try not to think about the thousands of zombies wandering just outside the door, ready at a moment’s notice to devour anything that moves. The apocalypse has hardened the world, and the manor is no exception. The isolation is disappointing every day, and the number of people coming for medical care dwindles, leaving Bruce feeling like someday soon there may be no one left. Routine is broken, however, when an extremely angry boy shows up at the manor, and reluctantly joins their small band of survivors. Soon, Bruce may realize there is more out there for him than he ever could have imagined.
