“Uh...Cyno? Are you alright?” Kaveh finally asks after a moment.
The shorter male startles, before speaking, his voice soft, almost sounding in disbelief.
“You look exactly the same as I remember.”
Kaveh waits for some sort of stupid punchline, but none comes.
“Uhh… I would hope so? It’s just been about two weeks since I saw you.” He finally says after a moment.
Cyno blinks once. Twice. Then, he says.
“Kaveh, you and the entire construction crew disappeared ten months ago without a trace.”
OR
Kaveh heads to a commission out in the desert for a few days and ends up trapped in ancient ruins with the entire construction crew. When they emerge ten days later, they find that ten months have passed for everyone else.
