The younger sprites and spirit were left to ponder why this one spirit was cast out from the others, and what they did to elicit such a response from their well-respected elders.
It was quite silly when you thought about it, to be quite honest.

Only a select few knew the true reason why the poor Starling was left in isolation, everyone else following suit like the lost sheep they acted as.

The COVID-19 Pandemic took the world by surprise, snatching it off its feet and dangling it tauntingly while more and more lives were taken every day.
It was a disaster.
Children were forced inside, watching with horror as the casualty count rose by the thousands. Fear was at an all time high; surpassing the Dark Ages, which was a feat itself, and bringing belief back to square one.
The Guardians were at their wits end as to what to do about this.
So imagine their surprise when a long-lost friend returns. -
