“What?” George asks.
“Um,” Sapnap starts, keeping his eyes on the small pile of clothes, still refusing to look his alpha in the eyes, “nothing.”
He clambers into the nest, prickles of anxiety crawling up his neck and making his stomach feel like it’s in knots while he continues building up his nest. His sweet cocoa scent smells a little spoiled, and he knows that must be pissing the alpha off.
What if George gets too annoyed? What if he gets frustrated by the smell of fear and anxiety when in reality Sapnap should be feeling safe with him? So frustrated in fact that he bites Sapnap a little too hard, claws at him, hits him, kicks him out of his own nest?

Trauma from a previous heat partner has made it hard for Sapnap to trust and let his new alphas, Dream and George, help him. He gives them a chance though, hopeful that all will go well and he won’t have to experience another horrible heat. Unfortunately, his two alphas let their instincts get the better of them, bringing Sapnap back to a part of his life that he just wants to forget.

Summary
Dream's eyes burned as he scrolled through his phone like a zombie. Each sentence, each paragraph he read felt like it was hacking away at his brain cells, slowly but surely driving him to insanity. Everything around him just seemed dark, leaving him feeling lost in the gloomy cave that was his mind and its endless anxieties, doubts and fears.
"Dream? Can I come in?"
The darkness around him subsided for just a second at the sound, the smallest ray of light in the shadows. The light grew brighter as his door opened, and as his vision focused he realised George was sitting next to him.

"Puppy…" He hummed, and Dream’s face softened even further as he blinked slowly and let out another helpless whimper. He caught Dream's eyes again, and he nearly teared up as well at how utterly exhausted and spaced out Dream looked. He gently stroked his thumbs over Dream's cheeks, just underneath his tired eyes. "Oh, baby, look at you," He continued in a hushed tone, and Dream pulled him in close in response, hugging him tight around his waist and burying his head into George's shoulder while George's arms wrapped around him as well, holding him tight, keeping him safe. "What's wrong, pup? What’s goin’ on?"
"M'just," Dream started, voice already hoarse and cracking. He sniffled quietly, whining again, hugging tighter. "M'so tired."

Dream allowed his attention to drift away from the news reporter as she moved on to another news story, popping his back from where he sat on the couch and humming thoughtfully.
"What's this about Fleur?" George asked from the armchair in the corner. Currently, the short brit was staying with Sapnap and him in their house in Florida, easing himself into their living dynamic with extended stays every so often. It was just poor luck that he was stuck with them until the planes started flying again, since no doubt if the hurricane was as bad as they predict - or God forbid, worse - there wouldn't be any flights, or maybe even roads, open until they were in the clear.
Or, DTeam stuck in the house til a hurricane passes + Dream with the flu = Angst w/ fluff and comfort teehee :)

“George?” He questioned, head now lifted from where it had rested on his knee.
“Yeah baby it’s me.” The nickname pulled another sob from his throat. "Could you open the door for me so we can talk about what's going on?” the brunet added and Dream could feel he was close to him.

"Noodle baba," the little slurred towards the brunet, who had taken this rare chance of peace and quiet to get a head start on cleaning the living room, due to their amazing floor plan, once again only a few feet from the table in case Dream needed him.
"For me?" George called from the carpet, where he was picking up stuffed animals and action figures that the blond had played with after his nap earlier.
The blond nodded and held out his small fork in the direction of George, watching as the man quickly stood from the floor and walked over to the table, opening his mouth, taking the bland pasta off the metal, and chewing, humming deeply to show the other he liked his gift.
"That's so tasty! Thank you, bud!" he remarked, and Dream smiled wide before his free hand reached for a slice of apple, clumsily guiding it up to his lips and chewing on the sweet fruit. He dropped the fork from his other hand and extended his fingers for his cup, lifting it high and turning it over, washing the last pieces of apple still stuck between his teeth down with the tasty juice.
Or Little Dream helps George cook some pasta for dinner.
