“Because you won! And I think you deserve a prize.” The malicious intent was audible in his voice, and something dark gleamed in his eyes.
“Is the prize a peaceful death?” Charlie tried, an unconvincing grin hastily plastered onto his face.
The sheep man’s voice took on an echo, and his smile showed far too many teeth. “Nope!”
Charlie slowly returned to awareness, and the first thing he noticed was how… wrong everything felt. His body felt far too wet, far too numb. He tried to raise an arm, feeling it bend at an unnatural angle as it made a horrible squelching noise. Whatever the sheep guy had done to him, it definitely didn’t seem like much of a prize.
OR:
Charlie from “We spent 100 days in a Minecraft hardcore apocalypse” gets reincarnated as c!Charlie in the DSMP. Chaos ensues.

He had no idea how he was alive, or where that thing went. Whatever god was playing with his luck, forcing him to be trapped in a death game one minute and blessing him with life the next, could be thanked and/or cursed later. For now, two things mattered, and two things only.
Finding Ranboo, and escaping with them.

With every second he found himself unable to talk, it got harder to find his rhythm, the pace like he had before. Jokes fell flat, and the bits he tried to start worked as successfully as a car without wheels.

After a few moments, Charlie finally got the courage to ask what he had been so terrified to ask aloud, even though the question had been thrumming in his mind ever since she’d appeared again.
“Will you stay?” he breathed, the question barely audible, but his daughter must have heard it because she paused, her body freezing where it was curled into Charlie.
Juanaflippa pulled back for a second, her eyes darting up to him before she let out a slow nod.

Charlie finds Juanaflippa again after the birthday steam, and this time she decides to stay. However as more and more signs of his daughter acting strange begin to appear, Charlie realizes he can only live in denial for so long…

Wilbur Soot was the son of death herself, reborn in lava and again in the midst of a burning forest. He refuses to be left behind by history, determined to redefine his legacy, even if it's at the side of someone else.
"Then there was smoke"
Quackity had no legacy, so he created one. He built his city from the ground up based on his own ability to keep coming back even when the gods themselves seemed to try and kill him. He's no follower, not anymore.
"Then that preacher man was hanging by a rope"
Sapnap was a smoldering flame, forgotten by those he tried so hard to protect and hold together. He had no direction until someone he spared so long ago decided to spare him in return. In the end, it's him who gets to choose his own path.

Charlie huffed, grabbing Sneeg’s arm and tugging him forward. “Stop being so safe, how often do you get the chance to spend the night in a creepy old house in the woods with your little bros?”
Sneeg groaned, “If you two die I’m gonna laugh at your funeral.”
Or, three brothers, Charlie, Ranboo, and Sneeg Showfall end up spending a night in a strange cabin after their car breaks down and find out it may not be quite as abandoned as they think it is…

Charlie was the same. A chick who was taken from the nest too early. Thrust from his familal life into the arms of Quackity until the whole nest was shaken apart.
With the realisation Charlie was hurt. By the momma bird which always promised to protect him.
