Once the trial grounds collapse, once every drop of blood and ounce of fear is consumed, where do the killers go? Some wander the fog, endlessly searching for some distant promise. Some fade with the trial grounds, and only emerge when there's more killing to do. But some - the most devoted killers - are rewarded. They get to inhabit a warped replica of some place dear to them. And for The Huntress, that's her mother's cabin.
The Pig is a fragile shell. A being too weak to hunt regularly, but too useful to throw away. A being who spends most of its time outside of the trial grounds. And whether it's because of The Entity or some remnant of humanity rattling around in her twisted being, The Huntress has taken a liking to her.
