It’s a roller coaster of repressed feeling, accepting it is okay to move on, and possibly putting his best foot forward as he figures out how to date again. He wants off but the straps are locked into place. What the hell is he gonna do? -

Everyone in Waekefield knows the history of the pink house on Norbert Street.
It’s the emptiest part of the otherwise lively town; not even the most desperate squatters dare to so much as glance down the strip. Despite the current state of the chilling cul-de-sac, it was once a neighborhood like any other. There were lawns with flowers, dogs playing fetch, kids running down the sidewalks. It was a tight-knit community who brought welcome baskets to new neighbors and organized block parties. There were no strangers there, no mysterious figures, no unsettling folk to watch out for.
After that night, however, very few remembered the street for what it once was. When asked a rare few might speak of the joyful parties, happy kids, competitive game nights and whole street bake sale, but most will recount the events leading up to and after September 22nd.

Marks eyebrows furrowed as he looked to Sean, in question, too, before sliding his eyes back. "...fine." His eyes flickered back to Jack, who grinned in greeting. "Is that.. blood?"
Ethans eyes went wide as he stuttered a step back, looking to see a streak of red on Jack's sleeve. He checked himself over frantically to make sure he'd gotten all of his off when he'd showered. When Mark looked back to him, he stilled abruptly- looking too stiff and panicked.
