He didn’t bow his head. Merely waited as Voldemort reached a pale long finger out and brushed his fringe back. “The symbol of my downfall.” Voldemort hissed, face drawing into a scowl. Harry tilted his head to the side.
“Or your way to victory.” Harry said, smiling. Voldemort’s eyes pressed into his and he said nothing for a long moment. “Use your magic on me. You’ll realise. You’ve always been smart and knowledgeable.” Watching Voldemort parse through the meaning of those words, he waited. Then a tip of that long finger pressed against his scar and that heady magic enveloped him. His eyelashes fluttered in pleasure from the contact. Then it was gone abruptly as it’d pressed in.
🐍My horcrux.🐍 Voldemort hissed, eyes widening slightly. Harry nodded his head and thought about rising but decided against it. This position was hardly hurting him, and he knew to the outside world it’d put him more in their favour as it looked like he was following their Lord. “You knew.” It wasn’t a question, but Harry nodded anyway. “And what is it you want?”
“Simply.” Harry let a smirk, dark and cold, lift his lips. “You.”

What would happen if Charlie Weasley and Regulus Black went to school together?
Charlie Weasley has always been a bit different and a bit sheltered, but once he goes to Hogwarts and finds his own way, what will he do? The Wizarding War is back and The Dark Lord is looming. Weasley’s are Gryffindor’s and they’ll be brave, but the measure of bravery is in the eye of the beholder.
A mess of an AU for my two comfort characters who have barely ten canon mentions. A Grey Charlie Weasley and Regulus Black trying their best to survive the War. Two distantly related cousins trying to destroy The Dark Lord piece by piece. Also, I am awful at maths, so try not to think too hard on the timeline, the Weasley’s are more spaced out and obviously had to change the ages for Regulus Black to be attending Hogwarts at the same time as Charlie.
Excuse any errors or inconsistencies I will try my best to fix them when I can. This will be a long Fic, starts Year 1 of Charlie’s Hogwarts Years.

On the way to his first year at Hogwarts, Harry meets a lanky red-haired boy who introduces himself as Ron. He calls Draco "the wrong sort of people". Harry rejects Ron's friendship and an enmity takes its course.
Note: This story is about what it would have been like if Draco and Ron had swapped roles. How would Harry's adventure have gone if Draco Malfoy had become his best friend and not Ron Weasley?
Watch out! Due to this circumstance, the characters Draco and Ron (and their families) are rewritten! We have a "good" Draco and a "bad" Ron.

He succeeds in killing James and Lily but fails to kill one-year-old Harry when the killing curse was reflected back at him. Thankfully, Tom had a contingency in place should he fail, a piece of his soul would enter Elizabeth's body and she would become his final Horcrux.
