    Through unknown means, our human—now a Darkrai—is trapped in a place where time loops, space warps, and nightmares are not discernible with reality. This crumbling world could not happen by chance, could it?
    In the midst of all this, they meet a snarky Armarouge—an unlikely ally with sharp words and sharper instincts. Forced into a reluctant partnership to survive, they begin a quiet search for answers... and maybe something more. But slowly, other plans creep into their mind.
    Will they act on it?

    (This fic is set in an original post-canon PMD world—think something closer to how Pokémon Horizons is to the core series Pokémon games; they contain fully non-canonical elements unlike the previous anime series, but they still very well take place in the same, or more accurately, a similar (alternate) universe.)

This is the story of Lord of The Skies, Ari Flystone.

    NOTE: Since this was written and finished before Parts 7-14 were in production links will be provided for when you need to jump to a different Part and back in order to get the full experience, it isn't required but heavily recommended to read those when links are provided at the end of the chapter alongside reading Parts 1-5 first since they also carry many plot points that explain things in Parts after them.

    UPDATE: Just finished re-writing this fic into my current writing style, now I just need to do the more older story expansions next!
