Summary

“That’s it shitty Dazai!” Chuuya yelled as he got up angrily. He didn’t make it all the way up before he landed back on the bed with a gasp.
Infront of him, on the floor near his bedroom door, was a tiny head coming out of Dazai’s dress shirt and a small body wrapped loosely in bandages. If he wasn’t looking closely, he would have mistaken the little creature for a pile of laundry. The little brunette gasped in surprise and stared at Chuuya with wide frightened eyes.

Chuuya was hit by an ability that turned Dazai into a child, and now he has to heal his trauma. -

"What? No comments? No typical, cheesy, cringe 'never do it again'?" Once again, his voice sounded monotonous, void. He almost cringed at himself.
"If I did say that," Chuuya wrapped the bandages around his arms. "Would it stop you from doing it again?"
Dazai fell silent.
He had no words to speak. He had not expected that from the ginger. He had expected a snarky remark, an angry outburst, anything but the tired resignation.

All Chuuya could do was stare at the scene unfold. The sight of Dazai like this unnerved Chuuya. Chuuya had never expected Dazai to act like this in all his years of knowing him. Chuuya had only thought that Dazai hated dogs for no valid reason other than they disgust him but he never expected Dazai to be genuinely scared of them. He didn’t think anything could scare Dazai but after seeing the way Dazai had reacted to something so harmless from the dog he knew that wasn’t the case. Dazai’s reaction was a conditioned response. He must have trauma surrounding dogs. Chuuya would have never guessed since Dazai had never portrayed fear towards anything- even death. Dazai was suicide fanatic for crying out loud. He didn’t fear death but for some reason he feared dogs.
Or
Chuuya picks up a stray pup he decides to take in without checking with Dazai first and his partner's reaction is something beyond Chuuya's expectations (and not in a good way).
