Summary
What do you do when a stranger shows up at your front door in the middle of the night, begging for your help?
It's the eve of World War Two, and the Nazis are persecuting people all over the country. Castiel Novak was never one to take risks, especially anything as drastic as hiding refugees. It was too risky, and not at all worth it for him. However, a mix up leaving Dean Winchester on his doorstep forces Cas to reevaluate his morals and decide what to do with the man.

Summary
Life is nothing but a series of processes. We rise, we work, we function within the walls we’ve designed for ourselves. Dean Winchester does not deviate from this system. Heavily tattooed and a certified genius; Dean necessitates control. Relationships are a no-go. Too messy, unpredictable. And yeah, he knows having casual sex with his best friend, roommate, and business partner is a dumbass move. But Cas’ suggestion is impossible to resist.
What Dean doesn’t expect and couldn’t possibly predict is the unique way Cas manages to shut down his mile-a-minute mind, giving him a level of inner peace he’d thought to be unattainable.
What starts out of convenience morphs into a dynamic emotional slide neither of them were prepared for, forcing them to decide what they’re willing to risk.

Summary
If there’s one thing Dean's good at it’s killing, and now, with the Mark of Cain hungry on his forearm, the First Blade in his hand, and no qualms when it comes to the intricacies of right and wrong, he can showcase his talents as much as he wants. And he wants.
Crowley is quick to sink in his hooks and get a Winchester on his side. Sam is determined to get his brother back, to save him no matter the cost, but Castiel isn't sure Dean wants to be saved.
Weakened by failing grace and running out of time, Castiel has to make the hard choice: kill the man he’s given everything for, or sacrifice everything he stands for to bring him back. [DCBB17]

Summary
Dean is a sheriff in a tiny town in Colorado, restless and unsatisfied with his life. It's not like what he's read about in the dime novels since he was little, capturing dangerous outlaws and being the last word of the law. More like tossing the town drunk in a cell to sober up when they get a little too rowdy.
But Dean's chance comes when a thief rolls through their town. He pursues the thief, which puts him right into the path of Emmanuel, a notorious outlaw. When he is captured by the outlaw and his gang to be held for ransom, Dean starts off on a journey he could have never envisioned, and learns that perhaps there's more to Emmanuel than meets the eye. -

Summary
Hunters of the supernatural are keepers of the peace, even if they run a bit under the radar. They keep the human-killing creatures under control, while wee creatures like pixies and ghosts are treated as household pests. Dean is hunting down whatever is killing off whole populations of prisons and small towns in Northern New Mexico, with his new pal, the mysterious–but hot–weirdo, Cas giving him a hand. His usual partner, Charlie, is working with the witch Meg to find the slippery source, which leaves it up to him and the obviously inhuman Cas to do the legwork. “Obviously,” because–although Cas doesn’t even ping his hunter radar–he knows too much, and to not even be on Dean’s radar at all…? That’s impossible.
Meanwhile, people are dying, the road is long, and Baby is out of order.
But maybe a road trip in an ugly camper truck, a curious case, and a working vacation in a Santa Village in the wilds of New Mexico with the blue-eyed mystery man is just what Dean needs?

Summary
Due to a romantic-comedy level booking blunder, grumpy stress-case Dean and reclusive writer Castiel end up shuttled off to the same remote cabin for two weeks, and nobody seems to care that neither of them wants to be there. But since they’re stuck in the same cabin for the duration of their vacation, they might as well play nice and make the best of it right?
Wrong.
Dean’s so stressed out he can’t sit still, Cas can’t boil water without setting the place on fire, and they’re so on each other’s nerves it’ll be a miracle if either of them survives until their rides home arrive.
At least the tension is just social, and not sexual, right? Right?

Summary
Castiel would definitely have a word or two for those who believed love was a fairy tale. In his experience, love was a constant struggle with his and Dean’s inner demons and impossible expectations. Yes, Dean was always worth it, and it’s not like Cas didn’t have a crack in his chassis, but how the hell was his supposed to compete with an imaginary apple pie life?

Summary
Despite having every resource the government could throw at them, within the vast wealth of lore protected and researched by the Federal Bureau of Letters and Arcanae, there were only five obscurely written entries on angels. And the number of actual angels ever encountered by humans? One, and that guy was a dick. So when intel indicates a genuine, living angel has been captured, with dire consequences to the universal balance, the FBLA send their best agents undercover to a clandestine freak show, where black market monsters are brought in for the enjoyment of those with the means to afford it. The mission is one they've done a thousand times: extract the entity and bring it in.
And Agent Dean Winchester's seen it all, but he's never seen anything like Castiel.

Summary
As an abuse survivor and someone juggling depression, anxiety, and family issues, Castiel Novak isn't looking for new friends right now, let alone a relationship. And as for Dean Winchester? He's too busy trying to keep up on bills and can't find time to sleep, let alone process the chasm between him and his family.
One strange night involving a rescue from a bar fight and recovery in an ER later, their lives are both forever altered.
Separately, Cas and Dean each have broken pieces, fragments from their past fallen along the way, but somehow two half-formed sections can fit better together-- and they can sew the missing pieces back.

Summary
Dean Winchester’s college years felt like the greatest of his life: School came easy, he was the starting first baseman for the KU Jayhawks and he was in love with the smartest, nerdiest, hottest guy in school, who also happened to be his roommate. They were the definition of Relationship Goals. Until they weren't. Until Cas left.
If you asked Castiel Novak why he was back in Lawrence after 10 years, he'd tell you it was because of a great job opportunity. If you knew Castiel, you'd know it was because of Dean Winchester. But Dean had moved on, successfully running his bar, brewing his own beer, tattooed and still the most gorgeous man Castiel had ever laid eyes on. Oh and? He was taken.
Dean wants to, but forgiving Cas isn't easy, and finding their way back to each other after all this time is like searching for a hand in the dark. Sometimes, ten years is ten years too late.

Summary
It was under canon fire and the smoke of gunpowder that Dean and Cas first met while serving in the Union Army during the American Civil War. After surviving harrowing battles together, they were ripped apart by an unfair court-martial. It’s now 1871 and Dean hasn’t heard from Cas in 6 years, when an unexpected letter arrives. Cas is alive and well and has just taken the job of Marshal in the newly established town of Perdition, Kansas, on the lawless western frontier. He invites Dean to be his deputy.
Anxious to see Cas again, Dean, with his brother Sam, leaves behind farm life in Lawrence to be a lawman in the Wild West. Expecting to see the upstanding Army Captain he once loved, Dean is shocked and heartbroken when he finds Cas a former gunslinger who spends his time in the arms of Meg, a prostitute at Ellen’s brothel.
The three lawmen face a ruthless gang of outlaws, led by Lucifer, who has deep connections to Sam’s troubled past and a vendetta against him that puts them all in danger.

Summary
When Dean’s six years old, he meets a little boy he believes to be magical. They become friends quickly, but then tragedy befalls the Winchester family. Dean’s life turns into one long road trip, and he has to leave his friend behind.
A few decades later, Cas Tate’s working as a geriatric nurse at Edlund Nursing Home, the place his sweet grandmother spent the last years of her life. One day, a handsome yet awkward FBI agent bursts into the nursing home and Cas’s life, claiming they used to know each other and that monsters are real. Cas is certain he’s never met this man before, but he believes the part about monsters. There’s something about it that rings true and familiar.
Maybe almost too familiar.
