Saitama meets the reader who perpetually needs help and she just sort of inputs herself in his life, although you won't hear him complaining much.

Please remember any chapters after 7 are manga spoilers and are my interpretations. If/when season 3 drops i will edit my chapters. All of the Anime has been written 6/5/23.

Ex-hero / villain S. pretending to be a hero again
S. was an unregistered hero for a while but eventually stopped, S. became "friends" with Garou and Sonic - which lead to him joining the VA (Villain Association) because Garou thought to would be fun, S. and Garou are S-level villains and City Z is their territory, the VA assigned S. to infiltrate the HA to get info on Metal Knight and kill him if the chance arises, G. knows S. is a villain but wants to use S. and his resources for more information on the Mad Cyborg
Interesting story format with sidebar paragraphs, crossed out words, and a running commentary throughout the story, but not too confusing
