After surviving a suicide attempt, Scaramouche is left to confront not only his own pain but the devastation it caused the person who loves him the most. Recovery was never something Scaramouche planned for. He doesn't know how to move forward, and a part of him still isn't sure he wants to. But Childe never leaves, not even when Scaramouche pushes. He's always there with soft words Scaramouche doesn't think he deserves. The guilt is mutual. Scaramouche is burdened by the weight of what he did, and Childe the weight of what he couldn't prevent. Healing sounds impossible for the both of them, but it's something they will have to attempt together.

For as long as he could remember, Scaramouche hasn't touched the sensation of happiness. He had been struggling for years without knowing why.
Until he had the biggest crisis in that time, at thirteen years old.
Soon, he started having therapy and was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, a mental health condition which has both squizophrenic, bipolar and depressive symptoms in some cases. Unfortunately, it was Scaramouche's case.
Love wasn't a good thing for him either.
