A month into this chaos, Kaelan Lovell, grappling with physical and emotional scars, is ironically paired with Detective Gavin Reed by Fowler. Like it's a fucking good idea !
Amidst the chaos, the investigation hits a frustrating standstill. Helena and Tobias, Roland's unyielding accomplices, offer no cooperation. Roland himself remains a ghost, having vanished without leaving a single clue behind. Adding to the complexity, Elijah Kamski has also disappeared. The coerced engineer, a crucial witness with potentially valuable insights, is now under heavy protection. This stagnation in the investigation only amplifies the tension and challenges facing the two detectives (and now partners).
