The words didn’t seem to completely reach the helmeted Mandalorian.
“Yes, everyone has. And look what it caused.” He responded after a moment.
In solving Plazir-15's droid problem, Din is reminded of his own. He hopes that taking care of the situation will help him, but when his actions are not successful, he can't help but start pondering his prejudiced perception of droids, his trauma.
And his companion, Bo-Katan, can relate.

Set after the events of Chapter 16 “The Rescue”. Din, lost in his sadness and rage for having lost everything that gave sense to his life, goes back to Sorgan. Ideally he would have found time to reconnect with himself again, find meaning to his existence, and formulate a course of action for his next moves. But he found something else instead. A story of rescuing and being rescued.

The Beskar Beast of Nevarro had been a living legend that both protected and terrorized the planet for years. It was a creature of the night, shielded from the sun and his enemies by beskar armour. The Beast required a human sacrifice every two years to keep his bloodlust sated. There were plenty of women on Nevarro, and the likelihood of being chosen was slim- though, you supposed you'd ruined your odds when you took your sister's place as his offering.
After all, what better reason to die if not for love?

“You should stay with us, help us to rebuild.” Her voice was calm and unquestioning, as if she already knew his answer before he could speak it.
