Sawada Tsunako doesn't know how it happened... no, she certainly knew what happened for her to end up the declared Princess of some evil organization that then decided to rebrand or change or whatever because of her.
Her Papa wouldn't stop crowing about his Princess Overlord, her Mama wouldn't stop cooing about it, and what's worse, the entire town seemed on board with this re-branding. Kyoya was too pleased, no doubt because of having more people with skills to fight with. All of this was Uncle Marius' fault.
He brought his Boss to meet Mama. It was also Uncle Tony's fault. He left her files to read, files she changed into a book. But she guessed it was her fault too. For ranting out loud while said Boss was in her home of the many, many, many stupidities, blindness, and outright bias of the said organization.
Really, all to blame was her Papa's luck.

He moved the wisp gently closer to him, fearing it would snuff out with any sudden movement. He cradled the wisp to his chest, protecting it from the harsh wind.

Exactly how the fandom spread in Namimori: Town of the Otaku, nobody knew. Some claimed it were the cosplayers. Others said it was the Avatar: anime or not? debate. The Arcobaleno thought it was Byakuran’s newest scheme to take over the world (or, possibly, his delight in torturing others. That was a valid option too). A few even thought it was Tsuna’s scheme to make the fix it fics real (which nobody minded- as long as their OTP would be present). One guy even claimed there was a prophecy in the episode titles of Naruto, hidden there by aliens, and that one could only find out what it said if they danced the Macarena on the third of May in front of the rainbow tree with a tea cosy on their head (everyone agreed it made a lot of sense- I mean, Naruto’s last few arcs? Yeah… Crazy times).
The only thing their stories had in common was this: Whatever might have started it, Hibari Kyoya’s amazing fics had been a turning point in Namimori's history.
And if Daemon descended from the ceiling surrounded by mist, loudly cackling, every time someone asked who got Hibari into the fandom, well, that didn’t have to mean anything.
