“I’ve done what?” Martyn asks, tossing his shirt at Cleo’s face at that precise moment. She has her hands full; Scott’s not fast enough to catch it, and it flops across her plate (Burger and all). Cleo slams the wooden board she’s got against her knees, shouting Martyn’s name, but by that point, he’s sprinted the few steps he needs to take to reach the swimming pool.

Joel chuckled, although there was not a twinge of humour in the sound, “Wow, and I thought you actually cared about the other person in this soulbind.”
“It’s gonna get us killed.” Etho corrected himself. “Now let me see. If it gets infected, it’s not gonna be good for you.”
“I’m used to this, Etho.” Joel reassured, his hand already on the door handle, “How do you think I made it in the previous two seasons? I’m gonna manage just fine.”
“But now you have teammates, Joel. And someone can actually take care of you. It’s not just 'your life, my life'. A team means people having your back.” He sighed, “So, will you let yourself trust me?”
aka, Joel is Etho's soulmate. He gets hurt, and he fails to keep it hidden. He lets Etho in on a secret he doesn't often trust people with.

Cleo knows this is dumb, and dangerous and maybe one of the worst things they decided to do in the life series.
Mobs are sure to spawn, being out in the open without armour or torches makes them incredibly vulnerable. A creeper blast would surely kill them, and if it doesn't, the powdered snow would finish them off.
And yet that isn’t what Cleo is worried about.

Grian wakes up and opens his secret task, eager for one that would play to his abilities: trap-making, TNT minecarts, etc..
Unfortunately, the task is something completely different. The whole server is called upon to act out a fairy tale, and Grian's role -- is to be a princess.Note: the relationships here are mostly platonic aside from Lizzie's and Joel's. They all know that this is just an act. But they have to pretend for the sake of staying on the Secret-Keeper's good side.
This is a crackfic, so please don't like, don't read.

“Who.. what-“ his words stumbled over each other, trying to make sense of it all. The man in front of him looks almost exactly like Grian- save for his tri-colored wings and different clothes. It was uncanny.
“Put that away!” The man shouted, putting his hands up in defense. “What’s the matter with you?”

This might be the most they have spoken about it since their second foray into a death game had wrapped up, roundabout as it is, and now that they are speaking about it, Etho decides that it was for good reason, actually. Not that it bothers him, really. It’s just… well, he isn’t sure. It’s just, he supposes, that Bdubs is kind of right. The first game is barely worth mentioning, and the second – they both know how that ended.

One of Cleo’s hands meets the wall behind Pearl’s head, who looks up to maintain eye contact. “There’s other ways I can make you scream, Pearl.”
