OR: I like Stranger Things 4, but I think some things could be improved if the scale was relegated back to Hawkins for anyone that wasn't the adults. Also, Mike should've been involved in the Nina storyline (possible spoilers for this fic).

Even blowing trees up or killing people with her powers doesn’t alleviate the pain El is feeling. El snaps at Hopper because he left her just like everyone always does, even though she knows deep down that he didn’t really have a choice in the matter. El breaks up with Mike even though she still loves him because she can’t help but say mean things to him whenever they’re together, and she feels like a shitty girlfriend. El thinks he deserves better than her. Someone like Will. Joyce tries to give her a hug after everything is over in the hospital, and El shoves her off because she can’t help that skin on skin contact feels like Vecna’s hands on her.
She thinks that no one notices, but Eddie does.
