The avian doesn’t even glance at the sign Scar gestures to, that proudly proclaimed the garden as Scarland. Instead he stretches out one of his wings, immediately distracting Scar from their banter as he is enraptured by the shimmering colors on his feathers. Then, without missing a beat in the conversation, the avian swats the sign with his wing. Sending it falling flat onto its face in the dirt.
“I don’t see a sign anywhere.” The cheekiest of grins is shot his way and Scar couldn’t have held back his laughter if he tried. This man was ridiculous in all the best ways.
Someone keeps stealing the flowers Scar worked so hard to grow and he is determined to find out who! Though the thief isn't quite what he expects when he does confront them, perhaps Scar can still swing this in his favor however.

It had almost been a year since he last woke up from his most recent hundred-year-nap, and yet, nothing really interesting has gone on. It was nice, of course, to see the progress of the little kingdom throughout the years. Each time he woke up, it was always a pleasant surprise to find that the scenery had changed yet again. If you haven't read it don't worry, but if you have, Grian is Kai Azer and Scar is Paedyn GrayIn the kingdom of Hermilya, there are people who were blessed by the Plague with powers. They come in many different forms, but these people were called Elites. Some however, weren't gifted this. These people were called Ordinaries. When the heartbroken king Ren declard Ordinaries as dangers towards Elites, people shunned and banished them from society.
The king's son, Grian, is destined to become a Watcher. Where it is his job to slay any Ordinaries lurking around the kingdom still. One day, he is sent on a mission in Secret Alley, where he finds himself getting beat up at the end of the day.
Scar, a secret ordinary who disguises himself as a Psychic, saves Grian, recognizing him from when he stopped by Trader Scars earlier. Without knowing he saved royalty, he is landed a spot in the fatal Life Trials along with the prince Grian.
These trials made the two go from strangers, to enemies, to lovers.
