He truly did contemplate simply leaving him there for the sake of his sanity, alas, his moral compass did prove to be intact as he wound up dragging him back to his cabin for some much needed TLC. Though the two have much to work through as they bite and snap at any semblance of weakness, neither wanting to offer up ground to the other.
    It gets worse before it gets better.

    He should leave Quackity here, he really should. The man had done nothing but betray him, and hunt after him every chance that he got, but something about the desperation in the sight before him had him reaching out to grab at his arm. Quackity had clearly fought to not die here, and it would be a shame to lose such a rival to something as trivial as a little cold and a zombie.

    "It was honestly a miracle that Dream had managed to worm his way into getting a meeting with Techno in person in the first place. Apparently, he had found some sort of solution for the shortage of Ender pearls that the Antarctic Empire apparently had. It wasn’t really a problem at all for them, but the words certainly had sent a bit of curiosity into Techno that wouldn’t be assuaged until he went and saw this solution for himself. 

    That and it was Dream who had invited him to his lands rather than kicking him out. It was not secret that Dream was incredibly protective over what he had, as well as refusing to let people in and out at will. Their immigration policies were probably the strictest of the kingdoms that inhabited the lands, despite how large his span of control was over his bit of forest and enchanted islands. 

    Nonetheless, Techno wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to venture inside his borders when he was given the chance to do it non-violently."

    In the next, he's waking up in his childhood bedroom. There's magic on his tongue, he's in his childhood home, and his family is still dysfunctional but they are at least together. He can prevent their destruction if he can just get past his own grown fears of them. He can do this by himself, it's what is best for them all. He can keep them from breaking apart, keep Wilbur and Tubbo from all the pain they've experienced. Tommy can do this for them, even if he's a little bit cracked now. If they get suspicious, well, what was that play Wilbur mentioned once? Hamlet? Tommy can just do what that guy did.

    (Tommy time travels into the past and begins to disguise his traumatic responses as the same kind of Chat Madness his older brother Techno is known for. But madness begets madness, and how far can Tommy go with a lie that begins to bleed at the edges?)

Tubbo had been an even bigger thorn in his side than Tommy had with New L’Manburg and his butchered attempt at executing him during the Green Festival. And yet, Dream didn’t look at him once after they were done fighting. He probably could have gotten a punch in with how tunneled Dream’s vision seemed to be. It wouldn’t have gotten them anywhere, but he could have.

    “Listen, Tommy, since you joined the server, you’ve been a headache!” Dream had started off, already isolating Tommy as the single cause of all of his problems. As if Tubbo, one of the people who literally tried to execute him, wasn’t standing right there. “You’ve brought war, you brought terrorism, you’ve brought bad everything! But! But! The cause of all the wars, of everything, was attachment, alright? Your attachment to the discs, your attachment to Henry, to pets, to friends-” He waved vaguely in Tubbo’s direction at that but still didn’t look at him. “To land, to countries, to items, right?”.

    Next thing Tommy knows he's eight years old, no father or brothers in sight, and he has no idea who this green guy with the stupid mask is. So, of course, he kicks the guy and takes off running.

    With a body and mind reversed eight years into the past, a memory troubled Tommy has to depend on Technoblade to help him figure out this new situation, without being kidnapped by the green guy or L'Manburg first. But as time goes on, Tommy begins to wonder about future Tommy, who doesn't seem to have been living a happy life. What happened in the past eight years that left him and the people around him so traumatized?

    There was nothing special about him. Although he did work at a cafe named "Always Sunny," that could be considered special.

    But there were many things that no one knew about him. For example, he was a fledgling with no flock and had healing powers that could top even the best heroes.

    Everything had been somewhat okay, until an annoying drama kid named Wilbur came into his cafe.

    He had worn a strangely tattered trench coat and round yellow-rimmed glasses.
    His hair looked really soft and bouncy.

    Ever since Wilbur had shown up, Tommy felt an extremely abnormal feeling well up inside him.

    Tommy badly wanted to hug-
    NO! He wanted Wilbur to leave, that bothersome creature would only bring more trouble to his plate.

    In retrospect, it was so obvious who had control over him now. There was only one person who would follow every message with a smiley face. Honestly, he kinda thought that Tommy of all people would figure it out. Tubbo used emojis, sure, but he purposefully avoided that one as he knew how much it triggered his best friend. Only one person- if he was even a person, which Tubbo was starting to doubt- would be that fucking sadistic.
