我从马背上滚落，双脚刚一着地便软了下去，只能靠着马身大口大口地喘着气。劫后余生的虚脱感和胸口那阵阵发闷的剧痛，让我浑身都被冷汗浸透了。
就在这时，我听到了身后传来的、熟悉的马蹄声。
我转过身，看见了Caeso。他正骑着我的战马向我冲来，那张总是如岩石般坚毅的脸上，第一次出现了毫不掩饰的惊慌。当他看到我控制住了局面，那份惊慌才迅速褪去，化为一片深沉的后怕。他勒马、下马，动作一气呵成，快步向我走来。
“你还好吗？”他的声音里还带着一丝不稳的喘息。
“有点累，不过还好，谢谢你。”我强撑着站直了身体，不想在他面前显得太过狼狈。
“我很佩服你能一直稳坐在马鞍上，”他走到马的另一侧，动作轻柔地抚摸着那匹仍在战栗的母马，帮它平静下来，“要是我的话，估计还没出峡谷就会被甩下来了。”
