Summary
After Agent Eight escapes the Deepsea Metro, a whole new chapter of his life begins to unfold. But it’s far from the peaceful, fun-loving world he was promised. After a routine Squidbeak Splatoon meeting turns violent, Eight moves in with Three, who sets to work introducing Eight to the life of the Surface and doing everything in his power to make Eight’s new life easy, safe, and happy. But tensions are brewing on the horizon, and the war between the Inklings and Octolings is starting to come to a head. No one can escape their past, and Eight will be forced to face his haunting memories of the Deepsea Metro if he’s going to have any chance at protecting the people he cares about. As the world is crumbling around them, Three and Eight struggle to protect each other and their relationship, all while trying to save the entire Octoling race from a terrible fate. The war isn’t over. It’s only just begun.

Después de que Ocho escapa del Metro Abisal, empieza una época completamente nueva de su vida. Pero al ascender a la Superficie, descubre que el mundo tranquilo y divertido que imaginaba es nada más que una fantasía. Una reunión del Comando Branquias se vuelve violenta, y Tres insiste en que Ocho venga a vivir consigo para protegerlo. Quiere nada más que asegurarle una vida fácil, segura, y contenta. Sin embargo, todavía hay mucha hostilidad entre los Inklings y los Octolings, la que no deja de crecer. Todos tendrán que enfrentarse al pasado, especialmente Ocho, quien tendrá que aguantar el regreso al Metro Abisal y los escalofriantes memorias que lo acompañan si quiere salvar a las personas que quiere. Cuando todo el mundo está derrumbándose a su alrededor, pueden Tres y Ocho proteger sus vidas y su relación, y también a la especie entera de los Octolings? La guerra todavía no ha acabado. De hecho, acaba de empezar.
