Summary
A chipper voice calls out as Eskel veers to the left out of the classroom and starts down the dull beige hallway, his work boots scuffing against the dark mottled carpet.
"Have a wonderful day!"
Slowing, he looks over his shoulder. Standing just to the right of the door he'd come from is a bright man whose arms are fully occupied balancing a stack of stapled papers, a gallon sized ziplock bag full of yellow Starbursts, a cell phone, and an obnoxiously large iced coffee. He wears a toothy smile, dipping his head slightly in greeting.
Eskel just gives him a quick nod before continuing on his way.
OR: Eskel, professor of zoology, finds himself meeting Jaskier, professor of music, two days a week. It really should just be a simple, professional chat every now and again when he clears the classroom for Jaskier's lecture after his own, but, well, Jaskier never has been one for anything simple. -

Summary
After Eskel’s car accident that left his face horribly scarred, his budding relationship with Aiden and Lambert is falling apart. On top of that, he finally has to deal with the reality that his goat farm isn’t doing too well. He hires Cahir to help with marketing and social media presence — a final attempt to get more visitors. Much to his chagrin, this Cahir is also very, very cute. And now Eskel has to navigate old feelings and new ones on top of everything that comes with saving his farm.

"You didn't" Geralt huffed breathlessly, almost not believing but at the same time, not very surprised. This is Eskel. Of course he couldn't leave a kid and his healing mama out in the forest alone. The thick headed oaf has a heart bigger than his brain, he thinks.
"I couldn't- Ger, come on," A huff of frustration before Eskel gestured widely to the small pile of blankets, to the two goats cuddled together on them and staring up at him with faux innocence, as if that would explain everything. Geralt was annoyed that it did.
He huffed a long, suffering sigh at his brother in arms, who was giving him those damned eyes again. Seven hells, they were really going to do this, then. He groaned a second time, pausing to really consider what the two of them would be getting into, by lending Mama and Lil Bleater shelter. Secretly. In a castle full of Witchers that could smell mischief before you could even finish planning it.

Summary
The vicious, hateful, anti-witcher pamphlet Monstrum was used to whip up townsfolk to attack Kaer Morhen. These people, along with several mages, slaughtered almost every witcher who lived and trained there. (This is book/videogame canon)
But.
What if.
Jaskier is a royal scribe at that time. It’s his first day as a scribe and his first assignment is to copy Monstrum over and over again.
He doesn’t know what a witcher is, but it still doesn’t sit right with him.
But what can one simple scribe do?
But just before the pamphlets are to be distributed, he comes upon a witcher. A witcher with a goat, who needs his help.
Well, as you might imagine, this changes everything.
